nail polish
Hello y'all. I have been spending so much time lately looking at nail polish, lusting after nail polish and buying a bit too much nail polish and I needed to make a post about one of the best purchases I have made for a while and that is the Topshop nail polish in 'Buttermilk'. I am loving this, I have been looking for a nude nail polish for a while now and this is everything I've been looking for.
This nail polish lasts ages, as I'm sure you would know if you had ever used Topshop nails. I only own 4 nail polishes from Topshop but they are definitely my favourites. The picture above is my nails after 4 days of wearing it, barely chipped and still looking fabulous. I would highly recommend this nail polish, the colour is gorgeous, I love nude nails more than anything and this ticks all the boxes. Also its very affordable at only £5 and the range of colours is amazing. Full range here.
What do you guys think of the Topshop nail collection?
I've done more shopping, its getting out of hand but I bought some nail polishes and you can never have too many nail polishes, right? 2 from Bourjois and 2 from Essie. Being someone who pretty much always has their nails painted it is surprising I have never used any nail polishes from Essie or Bourjois so I was super excited to try these.
I got a duo set on eBay from Essie (here). They are smaller than the normal Essie nail polishes but as this was first time trying Essie I wasn't massively bothered. I have used both of these, the first one is 'Super Bossa Nova' which is a very bright pink. Honestly, I own so many pinks I don't need anymore but never the less this is gorgeous, it is very glossy and I loved it on my nails. Out of this duo it was definitely my favourite the orange one 'Braziliant' is also gorgeous but pink will always be my favourite colour. The orange one had a very noticeable shimmer in comparison to the pink one which I liked but may not be everyones cup of tea. I did love this colour though, very summery and bright, if subtle is the type of nails you like I wouldn't recommend this. Overall, I am very impressed with Essie which I knew I would be as its such a big nail brand.
I picked up 2 Bourjois nail polishes along with the magic nail polish remover as Superdrug were offering 3 for 2 and I definitely don't regret buying them. I can't find the names of these shades on the bottle, here is a link to the whole collection. These are the 1 second nail enamels which have a silicone gel texture and being a fan of gel nails I needed to try these. The brush applicator is very thick, the bottle says its a fan effect brush which helps for neat nails. I found this alot easier to apply than most nail polishes. For example, the Essie applicator was very thin which made it very easy for you to mess up the nails which is the case for most nail polishes but Bourjois is probably the best applicator wise in my experience. I loved this nail polish, it is £5.99 which I would say is above the average price for nail polish but its worth it and the bottles are different to most (as you can see) with unnecessarily big tops but I love it. Definitely one of my new favourite nail polish brands but Barry M will always be my favourite.
What nail polish brands do you guys suggest? Do you like Essie and Bourjois?

Its no surprise I love nail polish and I love gel nails, they are so natural looking and last a hell of a long time. I saw that Boots were selling gel nail polishes and I was so happy! I picked up 3 of them, I mentioned the 'pink flamingo' one in a monthly favourites I think as that was the first one I bought last month. I just got 2 more for the summer, one is called 'pretty bang bang' (purple one) and the second is called 'azure amore' (blue one).
At a total bargain of only £3.99 each, its hard to say no. I used the buy one get one half price on Seventeen products to get the purple and blue one and I love them! As you can tell from the picture above they all promise to last up to 8 days which isn't entirely true, as you would expect. In my experience I have found that they last about 5 or 6 days which is still a long time if you ask me.
As for them being 'gel' I don't think they look like gel, when you compare them to real gel nails they don't really compare. To me they just look like normal nail polishes but some people do think it looks like gel. I think I set my standards too high when it came to looking like gel.
Overall, I would say they are just very long lasting nail polishes with abit of shine. They are totally worth the money and last longer than the normal nail polishes by Seventeen but they just didn't live up to my expectations when it came to gel. Buy here.
Have you guys tried these or any other gel nail polishes?

The boots! I love these boots. I have been searching for a new pair of boots for ages now and these just stuck out for me. They are from Forever 21 & they are extremely comfy ah. I don't have much to say about these boots apart from the fact that I love them!

I took a picture separately of the beauty products because they weren't as visible in the above picture. So starting with the Neutrogena moisturiser, I was in need of a new moisturiser and as my skin is acne prone I thought I would give it a try! It smells like pink grapefruit which is amazing and its pink. I might do a review of it when I finish the tube because it is the first time of me using it.
The simple revitalising eye roll-on is a product I have used in the past so I know I definitely will like it. Its the perfect product for tired eyes (for me anyway). It doesnt physically make your eyes look better as I do suffer from dark circles but when I use it my eyes do feel more awake. Is that the right word? It might just be a mental thing because I know its supposed to wake you up but I don't know I feel like it makes a difference. Its affordable also so go try it out.
Carmex is a lip balm I have surprisingly never used and I guess now its winter I need a new lip balm as I have been using eos lip balm basically all year. I bought it purely because it was cherry which may have no been a good reason but cherry is the perfect flavour so I thought why not? I used it as we were leaving superdrug and it made my lips feel like they could breathe (if you can imagine that feeling) it is definitely a product I can see myself buying again even if I have only used it once.
Lastly, my pink nail polish from topshop. If you don't know what topshop is, its basically a high street clothing store and they have a make up section. I have literally never thought of even looking in the make up section but on tumblr I always see pictures of topshop nail polish and I thought its about time I try one so I did. I put in on my nails about an hour ago and it hasn't chipped yet aha. I do like it though, its looks alot brighter on my nails than it did in the bottle but I really like it anyway.
So yeah this is my first blog post! Thank you for reading, if you managed to make it to the end. I will try and post at least twice a week on this blog so I can gain an audience.
