Street Style // LFW Fall 2016

So the second fashion week has been and gone! I love London, I think it has some of the best fashion in the world so naturally when LFW is taking place I never leave the internet because I can't miss a look. I watched some of the shows online and they were just beautiful, the Burberry show was just a dream. While the catwalk is the main focus, here are some of my favourite street style looks from th past few weeks...

Style Crush // Grammy Awards 2016

Well award season has come around once again and as always I am focused on one thing, the fashion! I have to say I always look forward to the Grammy's for the fashion, they always seem to bring it in full force at this award show. This year was no different, the fashion was insanely gorgeous and here are my top picks...

First up is my bae Ariana Grande, now in my eyes Ariana can do no wrong she is an absolute stunner but this Romona Keveza dress fitted her perfectly, it suited her whole persona. I think red is definitely Ariana's colour and the dress is to die for.

A big yes for Kaley Cuoco in this Naeem Khan jumpsuit! Yes its a jumpsuit I thought it was a dress for a good half an hour when watching the red carpet but I love that she opted for a jumpsuit, she looks gorgeous, I love the colour and the cut out in the middle.

Selena Gomez rocked up in a gorgeous Calvin Klein dress along with Taylor Swift on her arm (if this isn't #goals I don't know what is). Anyway, she looked like the absolute angel she is, in this sparkling purple Calvin Klein number and her make-up is on point, can someone please link me to Selena's make up artist please?

I swear every best dressed Grammy's post I have done Taylor Swift has featured on but she is the absolute queen when it comes to red carpet and this year was no different, she showed up to debut her new hair wearing Atelier Versace. As if we didn't need another reminder that she has the perfect figure she chose to show off some midriff and that colour blocking is perfect.

Lastly is Zendaya who is slaying all day, every day when it comes to fashion. She looked like a dream wearing Dsquared2 and Butani, I am here for Zendaya and her fashion choices she always goes with a completely different look and brings it every time, slay.

Thats it for my top fashion looks atthe Grammy's! How did you think the fashion was this year?

Look of the Week // Kendall Jenner at the Zoolander 2 Premiere

Time for a fashion post and the return of Kendall Jenner here on Magazines and Dreams! As you probably know I love Kendall Jenner more than any other celebrity out there, her style slays and she is the sweetest person. Her style has definitely evolved in the past year or so as she was quite girly but now shes gone quite high fashion and edgy. However, when she attended the Zoolander 2 premiere with mama Kris a few days ago, she looked like an actual barbie doll in the best way possible, she looked stunning!

Kendall looked dazzling in this mini pink dress, paired with some gorgeous Louboutin stilletos. As always her skin and hair looked flawless adding to the Barbie doll appearance with the sleek striaght hair and as expected Kendall nailed this look.

What looks would you like to see more of on my blog?

Liverpool Bloggers Christmas Blues Party

I had the pleasure of being involved in the Liverpool Bloggers Christmas Blues Party last Saturday with a bunch of other bloggers. It was a lovely night filled with eating, drinking, chatting and laughter, it was held in Revolution Bar which was a lovely location. We had our own separate, private place so we could party and enjoy ourselves.

The event itself was amazing! We started the night sitting around talking then moved on to making some cocktails. We started with a game of two teams to see who could make the cocktail the fastest and each team had two people on, one was the arms and the other one was the eyes so they had to communicate. We all then chose a cocktail each to make each and went up two at a time and made it.

I chose the bubblegum daiquiri vodkaccino which essentially consisted of blueberry Absolut, apple juice, ice with flying saucers on the top and it was amazing! I am such a lover of anything bubblegum and it came in a cup that you would get from Starbucks so the aesthetic was flawless.

We continued the night with more games, food and dancing. We all wrote each other little personalised messaged on these cards with our social media links on so we can stay in touch with I thought was the cutest idea. It was lovely to meet up with bloggers who you share similar interests with and just chat, I met some amazing people and had a fabulous night! Thank you to Liverpool Bloggers for organising this and Revolution for providing us with a gorgeous venue.

We all recieved personalised gifts from all the sponsors of the event so let me give you a run down and who was there and what we got..

Along with an Environ avst travel pack, Nails Inc in shade #424, James Read overnight tan sleep mask tan face, Cellex- C moisturizing sunscreen and a sample of Shisedo 'Ever Bloom'. These gifts are so gorgeous and I cannot wait to try them!

Monthly Favourites // January

So the first month of 2016 is over but it has been an amazing month and a brilliant start to the year, what a better way to celebrate than sharing my favourites with all your beauties! I haven't done a favourites post since last June, I don't know how that happened I really slacked on the blogging front last year but not to worry 2016 will be filled with lots of posts.

I have been all over fragrances this month, I received a fair few for Christmas but my favourite scent has to be Heat by Beyonce. I am a sucker for celebrity perfumes, I have owned pretty much every one under the sun and the Beyonce perfumes are to die for.

I haven't splurged much on beauty this month but I did pick up the Rimmel Wonder'full Mascara which I found to be the perfect mascara. Its very subtle and healthy for the lashes, I have always been a big Benefit mascara user but Rimmel mascaras never fail to impress me and the selection is endless!

January was pretty much a month of me loving Soap and Glory, I mean I love Soap and Glory at the best of times but because I got so much of it for Christmas and then proceeded to buy some of it in the sale my love is at an all time high. The Heel Genius by Soap and Glory has been a must use for me this month, as someone who gets dry heels this has been a saviour and I would never have thought about buying it myself it juts so happened to be in a gift set I received.

I think I may have mentioned this specific TV show here on Magazines and Dreams in the past but I have spent my whole Christmas holidays re-watching Gossip Girl because its just the best TV show going, it never fails to impress me I could watch it endlessly. Side note: UK Netflix is getting rid of it in February so watch as much of it as you can before it goes. *sobs*

If you want to listen to what music I have been listening to this month listen to my Spotify playlists here. That is it for this months favourites! Hope you all had a great start to this year and the rest of the year is bright for you.

Lots of love, Heather x
