Street Style // Vanessa Hudgens

With festival season being announced left, right and centre and people getting excited for summer (winter needs to move on), I thought I would do a post on the queen of boho chic style Vanessa Hudgens! I have always idolised how Vanessa dresses because she is so chic and fits that Californian style, I have picked some of my favourite looks from her blelow.

Firstly is this super cute flowery jumpsuit that Vanessa wore just to do some shopping, oh how I wish I lived that LA life style if you dressed like this in the UK to shop you would get some weird looks. Never the less, she looks amazing and the braided hairstyle really completes it for me as she looks so elegant. I love how this flows with it showing off abit of her torso, it looks so comfy while still being stylish.

This next look is abit more casual and fits more of her grunge side while its still quite girly, I like that she keeps the colours dull. I love the playsuit, the lace on the shorts really completes the look for me along with a green shirt. I love that shade of green and I would never think of pairing these together but she really works it and proves why she is a constant fashion inspiration for everyone out there!

I love this look, I think it has a more high fashion feel to it I could imagine a top model coming straight to fashion week rocking this look. Vanessa slays in this look, I love the colour palette the bag goes so well with the more subtle colours she has chosen for the rest of the outfit. The top and skirt alone would have made a killer outfit but I think the coat completes the whole look perfectly.

Definitely one of my favourite looks by her, I remember seeing this on tumblr back when I was just starting to blog and I was so inspired by it. It looks unbelievably comfy while she just strolls through New York (I'm guessing this is New York because celebrities seem to spend a lot of time there). The sandals are what do it for me because never in a million years will you catch me in these things but Vanessa just shows how chic you can look in them.

Lastly is this super summery look from Vanessa. I am missing summer so badly right now, I think this look fits her boho style perfectly. The top, the hat, the shorts, the boots everything is just so perfect I honestly don't know what to say. This looks is gorgeous and I much prefer her with this ombre hair.

So there are my favourite looks from Vanessa! What do you think of her style?

Lots of love, Heather x

Jimmy Choo // Flash Perfume

I have been lusting after a Jimmy Choo perfume for a while now so when I received the Jimmy Choo Flash Perfume for christmas I was so happy! This perfume is gorgeous inside and out, its got quite a strong but not over powering scent so it lasts you all day.

I'm not going to lie I am useless at describing scents so I don't know why I chose to do a blogpost on a scent. It has quite a sweet scent to it and subtle undertones. I use it on a day to day basis as it doesn't really scream nightlife, I know that Jimmy Choo made a limited edition perfume a while back called 'London Club' which was more of a going out one so this one is a lot more subtle.

I also received the shower gel along side the perfume which make a lovely combination. I would recommend this perfume to anyone who likes a subtle day to day, quite girly fragrance because it really fits that. Click here for a full list of fragrances in it.

Soap and Glory // Skincare Picks

Hi dolls so I have always been a little obsessed with skincare and I like to try out many different products to see if they fit my skin and are actually worth the hype. I recently turned to Soap and Glory for skincare because I have only ever used their brand for shower products never the skincare or make-up but lets be honest, Soap and Glory has the cutest packaging so I couldn't resist.

I first picked up the Peaches and Cream 4-in-1 Deep Cleansing Milk. I just walked in to Boots on whim when I picked these up but I love cleansers like this that melt away all your make-up while cleansing your skin. Naturally with it having 'peaches and cream' in the title and being a Soap and Glory product it smells amazing, I have been using this every night to remove make-up and it does me wonders. Its very gentle on the skin and it doesn't break me out which is a win-win situation.

As Soap and Glory was buy one get one half price I proceeded to pick up another skincare product and this was the Face Soap and Clarity Vitamin C Facial Wash. I have been using this cleanser most mornings and I do like it, it has little exfoliation beads in it and it thoroughly cleanses your skin. I do find it to be very soapy (it is called face soap so I should have figured) which I don't like but if you only use a small amount it fills your whole face.

I would recommend these products, they are very kind on sensitive skin and they are super cute and affordable.

What do you think of Soap and Glory skincare?

Lots of love, Heather x

Hello 2016

So somehow its 2016? I'm in disbelief that the year has come around so quickly I remember January 2015 like it was yesterday! 2015 was one of the most amazing years for me, I feel like I grew so much as a person and accomplished alot, its safe to say alot happened in the space of 12 months life, so much changed and I met some amazing people. If I could describe 2015 in one word it would be unpredictable because I didn't see alot of the things that happened to me coming so it was a year of surprises and experiences. I'm definitely starting 2016 on a high and I can't wait to see what the year brings me. Last year I did a post called 'Hello 2015' which was all my resolutions and goals and I plan on doing the same with this post while reflecting on my old resolutions...

Looking back at last years resolutions I wanted to lose weight, eat healthy, drink more water, post more on instagram, be organised and save money. I can safely say I posted more on Instagram (follow me here), I've drank more water and I've started saving money so yay! However, the others weren't quite the success I had hoped for so I will focus on them this year aswell. Here are my resolutions/goals for 2016:

1. Lose Weight.
Oh my god how simple this concept and how much I struggle with it. To be totally honest I'm not massively overweight but I'm at my biggest I've ever been which gets me down a bit so I want to lose weight in 2016 so my confidence is high. This will also mean I can buy more clothes and post them here for you all to see!

2. Be Organised/Tidy.
This is something I have always been bad at, I try to be tidy but somehow my room always ends up looking a mess, I'm okay at organising, I just want to be better at it because I stay organised for a few weeks then all of a sudden everything is all messed up again so that needs to stop!

3. Get an offer from a uni.
Hopefully I will be applying for university at the end of this year which is exciting so I'm hoping for an offer around December if not early 2017. So I guess this goal is also work really hard on my schoolwork so I get the grades needed, to be honest I've been slacking alot lately.

4. Start my driving lessons.
As I turned 17 in the summer, here in the UK legally I can drive so I got my provisional but I am yet to start my lessons, I hope to start my lessons and pass my theory this year or early next year! It will be ages before I get a car but it would still be nice to have a licence.

These are my main goals for the new year! What are your resolutions for 2016? I hope you all have an amazing year.

Love, Heather x
