Benefit // Prrrowl

Benefit is brand that I love and I don't own enough Benefit products but for Christmas I did receive a few goodies from Benefit which included the Prrrowl Lip Gloss & Mascara. I didn't even know what this was, I had never heard of it before to be honest but I love it! As you can see from the images above one side is a lip gloss and the other side is mascara, well a mascara topcoat.

I am personally a big fan of the design I have owned a few like this in the past and I think its a great design especially if they both look good together. The mascara topcoat is blue glitter which at first I wasn't a big fan of but I tried it and its very subtle. It takes a while to dry, the first time I used it I started touching my eyelashes (don't ask me why) a few minutes after I had applied it and got a load of blue glitter on my finger, not a good look. Maybe for an everyday look its not to everyones taste but if you are going out its the perfect fit, I am a fan of glitter in the daytime anyway so I have been getting alot of use out of this!

The lipgloss is gorgeous, it doesn't have a shade name its just called 'shimmering lip gloss' but the application is amazing (of course as its Benefit). It tastes amazing which, in my opinion, is a massive factor because there is nothing worse than a horrible tasting lip gloss that you accidentally taste about 50 times a day. This is also very glittery like the mascara but that is the aim of the duo, to make you shine! I love wearing them together because I think it looks very glamorous.

Thats it for today's post! Have you used Prrrowl? I love that name, its adorable.

My Little Energy Box

Hello! So I recently purchased another My Little Box, if you don't know what one is, it is essentially a beauty box like Glossybox but its better, it includes beauty products, a useful product and a magazine each month. It is more expensive and comes from Paris which is wonderful as I am all about that Parisian lifestyle. Back in October I got my first one which was My Little Parisienne Box and it was amazing, this month was no different. So what was inside?

My Little World Magazine
This is a feature they have every month that fits the certain theme of the box as this months theme was energy, it focused on workouts and interviewed a dancer, I think this was perfect because it had alot of exercise plans in there, face mask recipes and I would buy this magazine if they sold it on newstands!

2015 Calender | £10
Last year I had 4 calenders and they all had their place in my room but this year I had 3 so this calender filled the space from where my fourth calender was and its such a cute calender. Its quite small but each month has nice illustrations and puzzles throughout like Sudoku.

My Little Sports Bag | £20
As one of my new years resolutions was to get fit, I was beyond happy when I opened this. I do already have a gym bag but this one is amazing. I was struggling to get a nice picture of it but on lebeautygirl 's blog she did a post about this exact box and you can see the bag in a good light.

Nails Inc in 'Tate' | £11
Nails Inc is such an amazing brand and this colour is to die for. I love the application on Nails Inc and I don't own a shade of red like this so it is something new for my nail polish collection and I am wearing it right now!

My Little Beauty's Energising Mist | £7.50
I love this energising mist and My Little Beauty products are really good (from what I have recieved in previous boxes and read online). The products are designed in such a cute way and remind me of how Topshop products are designed. I really excited to give this a go because sometimes you do need instant refreshment.

Talika Photo-Hydra Day | £43.50 for 50ml
This is an incredible moisturiser especially if you suffer from dry skin. It gathers the actual energy from the sun and turns it into hydrating energy. It is such a good idea and my skin loves it!

My Little Energy Box was amazing this month and I can't wait to receive next months! Like it? Subscribe here.

Chanel // Perfection Lumiere Velvet Foundation

I actually bought something from the Chanel counter in Boots and I have never been happier. Just after Christmas I was in Boots looking at the sale items and I had my Christmas money on me looking at all the make-up, I was going to buy another Rimmel foundation because I was running low but I thought I would have a look at the higher end brands because why not? I have heard alot of beauty gurus on Youtube rave about Chanel foundation so that is where I first went and the woman was lovely! She colour matched me, tried out different foundations and I settled on the Perfection Lumiere Velvet Foundation.

This foundation is flawless, it was £33 which wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and I gained a hell alot of advantage points on Boots card. This is a water based foundation so I was abit on edge about it because my skin can be quite oily but I've had no issues so far. You have to shake the bottle before applying it, it does leaves me looking a tad shiny but if you apply some pressed powder afterwards theres no problems.

While I was buying this I also picked up the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush which is what I have been using to apply this and its a perfect combination. You don't need alot, a little goes along was which is good to hear because it does cost £33. I do not regret buying this foundation at all it is perfect for my skin and there is alot of shades to pick from. Have you guys ever used a Chanel foundation?

Taylor Swift // Stepping Out in West Hollywood

Once again I am crushing on Taylor Swift's street style. I saw this look on Instagram of her in West Hollywood where the weather is to die for and she looks stunning. Wearing a dress from Free People and Prada sandals, she is getting me so excited for summer style.

I love how simple this look and of course she is sporting red lips and red nails. I am going to be stealing this style for the summer. I couldn't find a link to her Prada sandals online but I created a similar look below for you all to steal this style:

Dress (exact) / Nail Polish / Headband / Sandals / Lipstick / Perfume

I think in terms of getting this on the high street Forever 21 would be a good option, I will be going there for alot of my summer clothes! Will you guys recreate this look?

Style Crush // Golden Globes 2015

I am more than happy that awards season is offically here! Over the past week there has been the Golden Globes, People's Choice Awards & the Critic's Choice Awards and the fashion was insane. I decided to do a post on the Golden Globes because the fashion stood out for me there. I feel like I haven't done one of these posts in forever so enjoy. :)

First up is Emma Stone who always looks stylish on the red carpet but I think she was one of the best dressed at the Golden Globes. Stunning in Lanvin she looks gorgeous sticking to the neutral colours. I am always a fan of celebrities who opt for pants over a dress at award shows because they always look stunning.

*insert heart eyes emoji* How is Jlo still this stunning?! I adore this outfit from head to toe, literally. The earrings, the hair, the dress, the shoes and her gorgeous skin. I feel like Jlo is always on my best dressed list when it comes to award shows and this was no different!

As Amy Poehler was hosting the Golden Globes (for the third time) and made so many outfit changes, I had to include her. I love this Stella McCartney dress, it suits her really well and the shade of blue is to die for. Blue always looks good on blondes as she is demonstrating here.

Emily Blunt has stunned at award shows recently and she is slowly becoming one of my favourite fashion icons. For the Golden Globes she wore Michael Kors that was made for her and she looks like an actual angel. I love the hairstyle with the earrings, she just looks so glamorous and I couldn't be more in love.

Lastly is Allison Williams in Armani Prive looking amazing, like, more amazing than usual. I am a huge fan of Allison and she looks beyond perfect in this red dress. I am also a massive fan of her hair, it has a very classic feel about it and the make-up is flawless.

They are my best dressed at the Golden Globes! Who was your best dressed?

Glossybox // January

I'm back on the beauty box bandwagon, I've been back and forth on beauty boxes I've tried a few but I always come back to Glossybox because for me it is the best. I am going to stick to ordering Glossybox monthly now so I will be doing a post each month about the contents. This month the contents were amazing and they were all full size! So what was inside?

Nicka K New York Colorluxe Powder Blush | Full Size | £8.95
This is a blusher that won't cause any powder to explode in your make-up which I am all for. You simply just use the powder puff applicator and it glides on easily. I am very excited to use this as there is a lack of blushes in my make-up collection.

Jelly Pong Pong All Over Glow | Full Size | £10
Another product I am very excited to use. This is oil free and easy to apply which is a win-win situation for me and although I own about 4 highlighters already I am not going to say no to adding one more.

Kueshi Natural & Pleasant Cosmetic Revitalizing Face Toner | Full Size | £10.70
I think this is the product I am loving the most, this smells amazing! It smells clean which makes me feel like my skin is cleaner than it is. It is such a pretty cleanser and it calms your skin while rehydrating, such a good addition to this Glossybox.

Naked Lips Organic Lip Balm Superfruits | Full Size | £5
I own way too many lip balms so I am never looking to buy anymore as I have enough to last me a lifetime. Never the less I love this lip balm, it smells amazing and it is so nourishing to the lips. Berries are my favourite scent and this is full of berries and other anti-oxidant fruits.

MeMeMe Eye Line Pencil in 'Clay' | Full Size | £4
I have only ever used MeMeMe cosmetics when I've received them in a Glossybox because I have no idea where they sell them. I am a fan of this brand and this pencil is a gorgeous neutral shade that would suit any eye colour. I will be using this pencil alot as it can also work as an eyebrow pencil which is a bonus.

Hello Fresh £25 Gift Voucher
Such a bonus! As everyone (including me) is trying to get healthier in January I am so happy to have this. I have never used Hello Fresh but it basically does your shopping for you and its all fresh and healthy so I will be giving this a go.

They are the contents of my Glossybox this month and I am over the moon with them, all full sized aswell so I can't really complain! What do you think of this months box?

First Aid Beauty // FAB Faves To Go Kit

Hello everybody, its been a while since I have mentioned skincare on my blog. As I watch alot of 'beauty gurus' on Youtube for a while most of the popular ones would go on about how First Aid Beauty is amazing and it was quite obvious that they were all sent them by PR companies never the less I looked up First Aid Beauty and thought it sounded like the perfect fit for my skin! So I picked the FAB Faves To Go Kit from Feelunique just before Christmas.

I waited a while for these because it was super busy with Christmas just around the corner but once it arrived I was so happy! This kit contains the essentials for everyday skin with face cleanser, face moisturiser and a toner to exfoliate. The products in this set are aimed at dry/sensitive skin which is what I am. I have always been someone with oily/blemish skin but as I am on Accutane (will do a post about that in the future) my skin has become quite dry and these are perfect.

The face cleanser is amazing, it reminds me alot of a Cetaphil cleanser because its very light and there is nothing bad added, also a little goes a long way. The moisturiser is pretty much the same in the sense that it is very natural and good for the skin, you do need alot of it in dry areas of the skin for it to actually hydrate you though. The facial radiance pads are amazing! I love these I can't believe I've lived without them this long! They make your skin feel so soft and smooth, they aren't that nice on sensitive skin though because sometimes it stings abit on the more sensitive parts of my face but not often.

First Aid Beauty is amazing and I regret not trying it sooner, see the full range here. I want to try the purifying mask with red clay, it looks really good for when you get breakouts. What do you guys think of First Aid Beauty?

Favourite Instagram Accounts

I spend way too much time on Instagram but who doesn't? I mean really, it's so addictive and such a good app. I recently read a post on Beataba about her favourite Instagram accounts and I thought I would share mine aswell because I am always looking for new people to follow, here are some of my favourites!

befitfam  - I follow so many healthy eating/fitness accounts and this is by far my favourite. With daily motivation and inspiration to encourage you to get down to the gym which I definitely need!

stylebymanda - I do follow alot of accounts like this with daily inspiration from make-up to fashion and holidays. I love these types of accounts because the pictures are so beautiful and like I said it is inspiration for everyone's day to day life.

whymodels - This was the first Instagram account I followed that was dedicated to models and from there I followed tons more but I love these accounts! Whymodels is my personal favourite with daily posts of every model out there and I love looking at old polaroid shots of models when they were new to the industry.

parisinfourmonths - This may be my favourite Instagram account. It is basically the life of a girl who moved to Paris for four months and never left and she writes an amazing blog (here). Paris is such a beautiful place and I love her feed, I hope my life is this beautiful on day.

yoga_girl - I think yoga girl is pretty famous on Instagram and so she should be! Her feed is amazing and another motivation for me to go the gym. The beaches she does her yoga are so gorgeous, I would definitely take up yoga if I could do it on a beautiful beach.

So they are a few of my favourite Instagram accounts, I have tons more I wanted to include but we would be here all day so these are 5 of my favourites. Follow me on Instagram here if you want to see snapshots of my life. What are your favourite Instagram accounts?

The Original Tangle Teezer

Hello! Today I am talking about the Tangle Teezer which is a hairbrush made solely to de-tangle your hair. This hairbrush has been a savior to my hair because my hair gets incredibly tatty when I get out the shower except when I use a hair masque but as I only use a hair masque once or twice a week the other times this tangle teezer has been a life saver.

I'm not entirely sure who this works but it has become an essential in my hair care routine. It was an impulse buy because I had a £20 Amazon gift voucher and I wanted to treat myself so I got a book and this beauty. I have heard so many people rave about this product so I needed to try it. It honestly works, its incredible.

I used it after I had just washed my hair and like I previously said my hair gets very tangled after I have washed it so I was so excited to try this. I normally do use a detangling spray from Aussie which makes my hair less tangled but not 100% detangled but this tangle teezer gets rid of every tangle my hair has and it's amazing. I don't know how I survived without this because without it my hair takes forever to untangle but I guess I just got used to it.

There are other products similar to this like the wet brush which I haven't yet tried but I would love to give them a try and see which is the best product for detangling hair. Have you used the Tangle Teezer or anything similar?

Kendall Jenner // Shopping at Barneys

Hello everybody! If you follow me on Tumblr (here) then you would've see all the Kendall Jenner posts I reblog because I absolutely adore her and I always have. I recently saw these pictures of her shopping in Barney's last week and I am in love!

I definitely have the American dream, I would love nothing more than to live in L.A and go shopping with the Kardashian klan so I love looking at candids of their day to day lives. This was Kendall Jenner's outfit 2 days after Christmas! Look how beautiful the weather is, does winter in L.A even exist?

Anyway, moving on to the outfit, I absolutely love this look. The top is my favourite part, it is a crop top from Marques'Almeida paired with white skinny jeans. The sandals are Saint Laurent and both the bag and shades are Celine (of course). This look is gorgeous and I would love to steal this style for summer this year because there is no way we are getting any sun like this here in England. What do you think of Kendall Jenner's look?

Hello 2015

Happy new year everybody! Heres hoping 2015 is an amazing year for you all. Last year I did a post called 'Hello 2014' which was sharing with you all my goals/resolutions for 2014 so I intend to do the same this year. In 2014 I wanted to take more pictures and started off the year with 15GB of pictures in my folder now I have over 40GB of my memories in pictures which is amazing. As for my other goals I didn't quite succeed. I will be sticking to my goals this year I am so determined and this time next year I hope I can look back and be proud of myself.

I get that alot of people say just because its a new year doesn't mean anything has changed and you can change your life at any point in the year, which is completely true but I think in January everyone is motivated to change their lives for the better and I am definitely one of them people. My goals for 2015 are as followed;

1. Lose Weight/Eat Healthy.
I know, I know so cliche but seriously I haven't exercised as much as I wanted to this year and I am always finding excuses not to workout but in 2015 I will be finding every excuse to workout. I also need to eat healthier because I honestly have a terrible diet, I'll eat one healthy thing then about 5 unhealthy things, this needs to change!

2. Drink 2 litres of water a day.
I realise this ties in with eating healthy but it is so so important to get the right amount of water. I never used to drink water, all I drank was juice or lemonade which did my body no good. I have improved on this alot as I always have a bottle of water in my bag but I don't think I drink enough of it so I plan on getting that 2 litres a day. You can get apps for your phone that encourage you to drink more water as well which is a bonus.

3.Post more on Instagram.
This may seem like a weird one because I think we can all agree we spend too much time on social networking sites but I think Instagram is amazing. I love looking at pictures of peoples lives and when I look back on my Instagram of 2014 there is hardly anything there compared to what actually happened.

4.Be Organised.
Okay so this is a repeat of last year but I suck at being organised! I lose things all the time, forget what time I'm in work, when coursework is due in etc. Its terrible and its my own fault so I have tidied my desk up and I bought a diary to keep a track of due dates etc. (How cute is my Paperchase diary?).

5. Save Money.
So I pretty much only just got my first job back in October and I definitely feel more mature having my own money but I am definitely a spender. I can't save money for the life of me, but I need to save money in 2015 for holidays, days out & all the important things in life.

These are my goals/resolutions for 2015 and I hope to stick to them! I also want to start posting outfits posts here on Magazines and Dreams so look out for that in the next few months. What are your 2015 resolutions?
